We used to go to Rocky Point a few times a year, then we moved back East. We flew out to Phoenix in Jan 05 to visit family. While there, we decided to take a side trip to Rocky Point since we were so close. We stayed in Las Conchas at La Peninsula with my relatives. This home was awesome! This place is right on the beach so it was perfect for my kids. I could watch them play all day at the beach from the huge patio!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Casa de Olas in October, 2005. We could not have asked for a more pleasant place to have spent a very much needed and long overdue family vacation. Wow, I couldn’t believe how close Rocky Point was to Phoenix, AZ. We drove down in April, 2005 in 3.5 hours. We stayed at La Buganbilia with some extended family. La Buganbilia was perfect! There was plenty of room for all of us. We loved being right on the beach and really liked the Mexican feel of the house. We bought some shrimp in Old Port and cooked them outside on the BBQ while watching the sunset. We will be back soon!

We traveled to Rocky Point on October 20th for 4 days and stayed at the Bed and Breakfast in Las Conchas. In the morning we’d eat breakfast with the other guests and then take a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was always good; with traditional Mexican fare being served. The hostess was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. She even held our newborn while we ate! We’ll definitely be back!
